Many of you might know that I live a very busy lifestyle and I rarely have time to relax. When I decide to relax, another part of my life starts to lose momentum. And I feel like I’m failing at life overall. I know it’s not healthy to think this way, but it’s something that I just have to admit. So, I want to share with you guys some of the things that make me really happy 🙂 And it’s been really helping me with my stress.
The first thing that I have been doing is taking naps. It’s not really easy to take naps at my house, but when I have the chance, napping with my puppy Zoe has been one of the best parts of my day ❤ Another thing that I do is just lay in bed and watch youtube videos. I always feel like I have to be working, but I’ve learned that that is not the case. I deserve time to relax and take care of myself, and in turn, I become a much happier teacher.
I’ve also been taking my puppy Zoe to the dog park! It’s been something that we both look forward to doing every day. We didn’t go to the park today because it was too cold outside, but she has been loving it! We walk around outside for about 30 minutes while she lets all of her puppy energy out 🙂
The most important thing that I’ve been doing is dieting. Watching what I eat is part of my self-care plan. And it has changed my life! You never know how much you need it until you start doing it. I’ve been meal prepping with my boyfriend and we get to save money on food too.
