An Update on my Life

Hi everyone πŸ‘‹ I’m back from a short break. I’ve been sick from the flu and I’m actually still recovering from the flu. I haven’t been doing much of anything besides watching movies and resting. I’m trying to get back on the working train and start working again, but I’ve been afraid. I’m afraid to overextend myself and to work too hard when I know my body needs to heal; that is mainly why I’ve been cooped up in my house for a couple of days. I also know how my body reacts to stress and being overworked. I’m not the type of person that can work when I’m sick.

I have been working on my blog though. It’s easier to do because it’s on my phone and it’s one of the only work related things I’ve done in the past couple of days besides going to teach one lesson. It’s been nice to work on my blog and give it the attention it needs. I’ve been obsessed with mommy blogs because I want to be a mommy blogger in the future. Motivational blogs are also my favorite.

I’m probably not going to write too much. I’m going to return back to my resting after writing this. I’ve been watching movies on Netflix. Olympus has fallen has been my absolute favorite movie so far. I also watched the other two movies In the series. I even watched Anger Management with Adam Sandler. I really hope I feel better tomorrow because I have my lsat class tomorrow. And I have a couple of lessons to go to. I’m also meeting my friend to hang out tomorrow. I’ll talk to you guys later!

How much time should you take to work on your blog?

The answer is up to you. You have to know how much time you can invest. Not many people have time to blog. And that’s okay. I know that I don’t always spend a lot of time on my blog. Instead of working on my blog for a couple hours per day, I’ll work on it every day for a couple minutes at a time. I’m not perfect. You don’t have to be. You will not always be able to work on your blogs for hours and hours at a time.

I will say that blogging is a total investment rather than a daily investment. You can write a blog post today and post it on the same day; that blog post will stay there forever. And you can reap the rewards from it long after you post it. When you reach about 200 blog posts, your blog should have enough content to entertain your audience for a long time. Also when you update your content and add more blog posts, you’ll have more posts that can attract views. I think that this is the smartest use of time. I know many YouTubers that utilize this same strategy.

The main takeaway is to continue working on your blog when you can. When you reach 200 blog posts, your blog will be in a good place to continue gaining views. Good luck on your blogging journey and keep blogging πŸ‘

Just woke up

I’m going back to sleep again after I write this post, but you guys are the best. Thank you for showing so much support for my blogs. I’m so thankful to have my blogs and the WordPress community! πŸ‘

Is blogging easy?

I don’t think blogging is easy at all. It’s definitely easy to get started, but it’s hard to keep it going. I mean… who would want to start something and never finish it? You have to be addicted to blogging and you have to love it. It should be the first thing you want to do in the morning. I can’t stress that enough.

What else does it take? It takes patience. It takes consistency. You have to be willing to post even when you don’t feel like it. Producing content after content should become a full time job. And you probably won’t see the results until later on. It’s all for the price of blogging.

If you think it’s an easy way to make money, you’re wrong. People make it sound easy, however, behind the scenes, they’ve had their blog for years. No, it’s not easy. Is it worth it? Yes, it is.

How to Build a Website

It’s finally the time for you to build your website! This is the most exciting part. And I think that I kind of miss this part of the process. It’s exciting… just remember that this is just the beginning of everything! Therefore, embrace the moment and be prepared for an amazing journey.

When you are building a website, you have to first choose which website company you are going to go with. There are tons of choices: blogger, wix, wordpress.com, wordpress.org, and many others. Personally, I chose wordpress.com because their creating interface is great. I never considered any other website building company because I heard that wordpress is one of the best. It’s easy to get started and the way that they structure their site makes it a very useful tool to get started with. I think that you have to really spend time building your website in the beginning. We often think that websites can be built in 10 minutes and that is just not the case. Ultimately, it takes lots of time and effort. However, once you have created your site, the hard part is already done.

The next thing that you have to do is to learn all the different customization tools. Believe it or not, I had to teach myself how to build a website. I didn’t learn it from anyone else but myself. And it wasΒ hard. So if you are struggling, know that you are not alone. I’ve found that youtube videos and other blog posts really helped. Having a idea in your mind for how you want to set up your website helps a lot. I think that many people will change their layout in the future anyways, so don’t worry about it. You will always be able to go back and change your layout.

After this is all completed, you have officially built your website. The best part is announcing it to all your friends and family so that they can go look at it too. I hope you enjoyed some of the advice I gave. If this post helped you, please give a like and follow this website for more blogs.

I write whenever I have a spark of an idea

nelsonmandela1

I recently encountered something today that got me thinking. There was a person that told me not to continue blogging. They told me that blogging was a waste of money and effort. Honestly, I haven’t even invested any money into my blog yet. I am writing purely for myself right now. And that is okay. Why do we feel the need to please everyone? Why is their definition of success so important? But more importantly, why is my definition of success not? I cannot understand why they would turn down my hopes, but I wish them the best. They might not be happy with their lives. I knew a lot of people that told me that teaching was a waste of time and it does not make someone successful. However, I am making much more than most. I am very grateful for the opportunity to pursue my dreams, but I want you to know that not everyone will support you. There will always be people that think that whatever you pursue is a waste of time. And you know what…? Forget them. They do not understand. When I decided to pursue blogging, I knew that it would be difficult. I knew that it would take a long time to gather a following…

What this person didn’t know is that I am resilient. I really like blogging and I will not continue to conform to other people’s definition of success.
